I heard about the first masterclass through Sine and I did not expect it to be this. I’ve met some great people, made connections, and have been working as a voice artist ever since. My hard work and passion rewarded me with a TSVA Certificate for Best Voiceover Artist - Newcomer in
2025.

Barbara Moagi is a South African Radio and TV host with an extensive background in public speaking, broadcasting and pageantry. Over the years TVOF has worked closely with Barabra, offering her VO support to ensure that her voice is well received by the market. She continues to enhance her skillset, consult with our practitioners and does a great job behind the mic. She can now be heard on YFM weekdays 20:00 - 10PM.

I have been a student with The Voiceover Factory since 2024, and it has been a fruitful journey. I have learned a number of techniques and also managed to secure multiple voiceover gigs. My favourite moments at TVOF were being on stage with Aldrin Sampear who created a news scenario whereby we came in as reporters to showcase our skills to the audience.

In 2023, Oscar attended our first masterclass with Keynote speakers such as Mr. Wilson B. Nkosi and Mr. Treasure Tshabalala and other veterans. Since then he has been immensely involved with TVOF beyond its programmes, but also as a writer and mostly recently a production assistant on the TSVA red carpet. Oscar continues to excel in his own career and can be heard on radio as a news reader and as a station voice for Emalahleni FM.

My first encounter with TVOF was a masterclass in 2024 - that was probably the best thing to happen in my voice over career. Things after the masterclass and joining the fellowship programme were never the same. I got my first paid gig as the female voice for the Start Up Club ZA Awards. I formed industry relations and friends through TVOF. The amount of exposure that I’ve gotten through attending TVOF events has exceeded my expectations. I’ve been able to draw incredible inspiration and lessons from industry giants. With this said, I’m eternally grateful to TVOF for helping me believe in the power of my voice ~ iyabulela ilali!

I have been religiously attending all TVOF events and initiatives and I must say…this community has opened my eyes to a whole new side of VO. I am currently in training with TVOF and continue to support their events as they expose me to the industry decision makers and my peers as well. Thank you TVOF.
Ayanda Mtsweni started her training with TVOF while juggling a 9-5. Her passion drew her closer to broadcasting and voice work and she had attended various classes by TVOF both online and in person. Recently she was selected to presente an award at TSVA and also was selected by Metro FM’s Zola Mhlongo as a top 5 voice in radio amongst hundreds of others.
Kofi-Annan is a current TVOF student who joined our community after finding us on social media. Her interest in media and broadcasting grew much higher in the past years. She continues to take part in one on one sessions and TVOF supports her journey all the way. Her voice can be described as authoritative, corporate, and yet soothing.
Fatima Boyi is a long time student at TVOF. Since 2023 she has attended our master classes and has always been enthusiastic throughout. Her courage to be involved is applaudable. She now works as a TSVA crew member showcasing her various skills in media, PR and production.
Getting one on one Voice Over Training with the Voice Over Factory has reminded me that learning doesn’t end. It’s also given me such a profound respect for the craft of voice acting, it’s required me to remember the importance of the “basics” and just how important they are. The journey has been so challenging as it has always pushes me to get out of my comfort zone, yet so fulfilling. I might stay here for longer than I had planned to.
